Murray McEwen Clean Water Prize Application Form

In 2025 the Grand River Conservation Foundation will offer the Murray McEwen Clean Water Prize with an award of $5,000. Applications are open to full- or part-time students who have enrolled in year two, three or four of an Undergrad or Graduate Program at a University or College located within the Grand River watershed (Universities of Waterloo, Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier, or Conestoga College).

Students must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents*, in one of the following programs of study focused on long-term improvement of our environment:

Environmental Sciences

Engineering

Emerging Technologies

Governance/ Education (with preference given to full time)

First Nations Water issues
